Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information — including protected health information under HIPAA.
Updated: July 9, 2026
1. Introduction
Axiom Research Group, LLC (“Axiom,” “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and in connection with our clinical research activities, how we use it, and what rights you have.
By using this site you accept the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Information we collect
Through the site we may collect: (a) information you voluntarily send us through the contact form (name, phone, email, reason, and message); (b) basic technical browsing information (device type, browser, pages visited) through analytics tools.
We expressly ask that you do not send confidential medical information through the contact form. Clinical details are collected only through secure channels and with your authorization.
3. How we use information
We use contact information to respond to your inquiries, preliminarily assess your interest in studies, and communicate with you. We use browsing information to improve the site.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. Protected health information (HIPAA)
Health information collected in the context of a clinical study is handled according to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and the study protocol approved by the ethics board (IRB).
Research records use a code instead of your name. Only authorized study staff can link that code back to you, and the authorization you sign describes exactly who may access which information.
5. Your rights
You have the right to: request access to the personal information we hold about you; ask for its correction or deletion where applicable; withdraw your authorization for future uses; and file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (HHS OCR) if you believe your HIPAA rights were violated.
6. Who we share information with
We may share information with: sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) of the study you participate in, per your authorization; regulatory authorities (for example, the FDA) and the IRB when required by law or protocol; and service providers that help us operate the site, under confidentiality obligations.
7. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information: role-based access, controlled document storage, and encrypted transmission where applicable. No system is infallible, but we review our practices periodically.
8. Cookies and analytics
This site may use first-party cookies and analytics tools to understand site usage and improve it. You can configure your browser to reject cookies; the site will keep working, though some features may be limited.
9. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors through the site. Participation of minors in clinical studies, where applicable, is governed by specific IRB-approved consent and assent processes.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the current version on this page with its update date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
